About Us
A Child’s World was founded by Dr. Andrea and Mr. Ron Seidman. Realizing that finding quality child care is a supremely important decision (and a major challenge for many families), the Seidmans wanted to establish a preschool program that supports the growth and development of every child’s multiple intelligences and learning style preferences. Seidman has over 35 years’ experience as an administrator and teacher of all age levels. She holds a Doctor of Education degree in Instructional Leadership and Early Childhood Education, with a Master of Science degree in Curriculum Development and Brain Research. Andrea does national and international presentations on “Teaching the Way the Brain Learns Best” and “How to Create Optimal Learning Environments” based on the latest research on brain development. Seidman is a professor for Keystone College where she teaches education and psychology courses required for the PA Director Credential and national CDA credential. Dr. Seidman developed the Living Education Series Curriculum© and the 4BELS™ instructional process. The 4 Brain Essential Learning Steps™ (BELS) engage students in the learning process with differentiated instruction for every child. All programs are designed to exercise your child’s mind and body, empowering children’s brains to make neural connections that increase intellectual potential. A Child’s World was established in 1994. Since then, we have been recognized as a leader in Early Childhood Education, meeting the education and developmental needs of pre-school children from infants and toddlers to kindergarten ages. A Child’s World’s proprietary curriculum is recognized and licensed by the Department of Education and has enjoyed a four-star rating from Pennsylvania Keystone to Education Yields Success (KEYS) for 10 years – the longest of any child-care center and pre-school. President and Education Director, Dr. Andrea Seidman is past Vice President of the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation board, past education chairperson for the National Childcare Association, and Board of Directors Chairperson of the international Teacher’s Council. She was recently recognized as a Person of Interest by the NAMLE organization.
